> The Bitche and Sarreguemines area

The water, the air, the fire... In The Bitche and Sarreguemines area, elements are pure.

The Natural Regional Park is registered as world reserve for the biosphere by Unesco and offers gentle landscapes; itis an invitation to walk.

Here, the depth of the forest and the overwhelming presence of water naturally made men develop the art of fire. Porcelaine and crystal makers produced the most beautiful tableware in the world for princes’ and kings’ tables. The “Pays de Bitche” is a strategic and envied place, and conserves the marks of the genius of Vauban as well as the marks from great conflicts, like the numerous castle ruins and the impregnable Ligne Maginot with the Simserhof fort, an astonishing living example.

The water, the land, the fire... The Bitche and Sarreguemines area offers a human adventure to discover.
