Opening of the Laquenexy
Fruit Gardens
From 5 April 2008
This year, the "Gardens Without Borders" network is growing with the addition of an unusual garden, the Laquenexy Fruit Gardens, open to the public from 5 April 2008.
It is made up of 14 small gardens forming a vegetal complex full of surprises. Come and discover, touch, smell and see, which is what was intended by the designer, Pascal Garbe, landscape architect and head of the Gardens Without Borders network at the Moselle General Council.
Each space - the garden of edible flowers (marigolds, violets, nasturtiums, etc.), fruit maze, garden of the senses, forbidden garden, epicurean’s kitchen garden and garden of books, which offers a relaxing getaway with books and deckchairs available to visitors - tells a story and shares an emotion.
