The 11th “Most Beautiful Villages in France” wine market will take place as usual in the Rodemack citadel’s park and vaulted cellars. Approximately 20 wine-makers and around 10 producers of homemade products such as honey, foie gras, fruit juice, bread, oil, alcohol, liqueurs and sweets in traditional dress will be at this year’s event. Representatives from “The Most Beautiful Villages in France” will promote 152 villages in one of the citadel’s towers. The Moselle has two communities classified as “The Most Beautiful Villages in France”: Rodemack in the Three Borders Region and Saint-Quirin in the Sarrebourg Region. The wine market is an opportunity to discover the medieval town of Rodemack.
