The Metz Christmas markets

For many years, Metz has donned its lights and carried on the tradition of eastern France’s great Christmas markets.



At the end of the year the Christmas markets open to the delight of inhabitants and visitors, who enjoy seeing the lights, walking around town and discovering many new things each year.

Metz’s Christmas markets are at several special sites and considered among the nicest in France.
