"Presents from the Past: Archaeological Artefacts and Stories" in Bliesbruck

Archaeologists present a selection of items found in Lorraine during the past few decades, most of which have never been on public display before.

The artefacts, from the Stone Age to the present day, are touching because they speak about us: about people in every period who made the most of their environment-earth, fire, water and animals. They made tools and utensils to eat, dress, build houses, travel and make life more pleasant. The objects speak of people who had to live together and might reveal themselves to be friendly and convivial or hostile. They also show that human beings have always wondered about what happens to them after they die.

Children will have their own activities where they can ask questions, answer riddles, draw and play observation games.
